Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative that characterized by the loss of dopamine. Since dopamine has trouble entering blood–brain barrier, utilization dendrimers and other nanomaterials considered for conjugating neurotransmitter PD drugs. Dendrimers are three-dimensional, hyper-branched structures categorized into several generations. Alpha-synuclein (ASN) protein involved in regulating dopaminergic functions main aggregate found inside Lewy bodies. Different types have shown efficacy disrupting formation unstable beta ASN fibrillation. The conjugation drugs elicited prolonged duration action sustained release BBB. objectives this study to review applications dendrimer-based drug delivery system addressing root cause emphasize anti-Parkinson’s such as rotigotine, pramipexole using routes administration than oral intravenous.
